The issues of increasing the efficiency and financial reinforcement of the local selg governments have beenn discussed in Kobuleti

The meeting  of the representatives of  the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the local self- governments have been organized by United Nations Development Program in kobuleti. The meeting, which was hosted  by the deputy Ministry of the Regional Development and Infrastructure tengiz Shergelashvili, was attended by  the representatives of the local governments - mayors and councilors.
The main topic of the event was updating of the regional development strategies and  the action plans, in order to ensure effective work of municipalities. Participants of the meeting also discussed the issue of  elaborating of the medium-term development documents, which primarily increase the financial independence of municipalities.
